TagTeam is a web-based care coordination platform that helps families support each other through caregiving.
The Problem
Caregiving is never just about logistics — it's deeply emotional and often shaped by complicated family dynamics.
In many families, one person — usually a spouse or daughter — becomes the default caregiver. This role is rarely discussed or agreed upon — it’s assumed. The result? That person ends up managing everything: medical appointments, daily care, emotional support, and keeping everyone else in the loop.
Meanwhile, other family members may:
Want to help, but don’t know how
Worry about overstepping
Assume the main caregiver has it handled
This leads to real problems:
The primary caregiver becomes overwhelmed, both mentally and emotionally
Family tension builds, as others feel shut out or uncertain, and the caregiver feels unsupported
Important information gets lost, as updates are passed verbally or across disconnected channels
Hired caregivers may not have a simple way to log updates, especially if typing or language is a barrier
There’s no shared space where everyone involved can see what’s happening, what’s needed, or how to contribute
The caregiving journey becomes isolating, reactive, and heavier than it needs to be — even when support is available.
Our Solution
TagTeam is a web-based care coordination platform that helps families support each other through caregiving — by making responsibilities, updates, and needs more visible, structured, and emotionally supported.
In families where one person carries the bulk of caregiving, TagTeam helps distribute the awareness and emotional burden, even if the physical load remains on one person.
Core Features:
📆 Shared Timeline
A central feed where anyone involved in care — family or hired help — can post updates, observations, tasks, or events. This replaces scattered messages with a clear, organized view of what’s happening.📝 Task & Event Creation
Users can log tasks (e.g. refill medication, bring parent to clinic) or events (e.g. check-up, home assessment) so others can stay informed and potentially step in. While there’s no formal assignment yet, visibility invites contribution.🗣️ Voice & 📸 Photo Input
Especially useful for domestic helpers or elderly caregivers who can’t easily type — they can record voice updates or snap a quick photo instead.💬 Comments & ❤️ Reactions
Family members who can’t be there physically can still show support with comments or reactions. A simple “❤️” or “Thanks for updating” helps reduce the emotional isolation many caregivers feel.📖 Care Log
Ongoing notes that capture changes in condition, behavior, or mood — creating continuity over time across different people involved in care.
TagTeam helps turn fragmented caregiving into a shared, transparent, and supported experience, where:
Primary caregivers feel seen and supported
Other family members feel connected and empowered to help
Updates are logged clearly and consistently
Emotional support flows more naturally
Care doesn’t have to be done alone. TagTeam makes it easier to show up — in ways that matter.
